The person walking emoji was introduced in 2010 and usually shows a man – the exception being Facebook Messenger, which depicts a woman – walking slowly and in a slightly slouched fashion. The full body of the emoji is visible, and it is usually dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. It is extremely versatile and can be combined with a countless number of other emojis. It can simply mean that someone is on their way, or that they are walking to a specific place. Combined with a snail or turtle emoji, it would suggest that the person is on their way, but very slowly!!
